What We Do
At Willard Arts Academy, we offer a welcoming space where everyone can learn and express themselves through the arts—no auditions or pressure, just opportunity. Our instructors bring both skill and heart to every class, helping students build confidence and creativity through acting, art, music, dance, and more. Every learner, regardless of background or experience, is encouraged to explore, take risks, and celebrate progress over perfection.

Through theatre, music, dance, and design, we help people discover their voices and find beauty in learning. Not everyone finds their place on the field or court, but everyone has a story to tell. At Willard Arts Academy, we make it possible for students of all ages and abilities to share those stories, build lasting friendships, and strengthen the creative spirit that binds our community together.

No. All of our classes are open to anyone who wants to learn. We believe progress matters more than product, so there are no auditions or prerequisites—just a welcoming space to explore and grow at your own pace.

Yes! We partner with Discount Dance through Ryann Willard to help students access affordable, quality dancewear and supplies. We also collaborate with local artists, teachers, and community groups to bring even more creative opportunities to Eastern Kentucky.

Not at all. Whether you’re stepping into the arts for the first time or returning after years away, our instructors meet you where you are. Everyone has something valuable to bring to the stage, studio, or classroom.

Consistent attendance helps students grow in skill, confidence, and collaboration. We understand that life happens, but we encourage participants to attend regularly so they can fully experience the joy of learning and working together as a team.
